We are delighted to announce following a vigorous recruitment process we have taken on 3 new Graduate Sports Therapists to join our clinical team. Final interviews took place on Sunday. We were truly overwhelmed by the volume and standards of candidates we received. So here they are…

MEET THE NEW ADDITIONS

Abbie

Abbie studied at Leeds Beckett University and graduated with 1st class honours. Abbie has accumulated a vast amount of experience in her career to date and is also a qualified dance teacher. This gives Abbie a unique understanding of the physical requirements of dance and subsequent requirements of any dance based rehabilitation. Below are a few of Abbie’s clinical experiences:

  • Leeds Beckett Sports Injury Clinic
  • Bradford City Football club first team
  • Rochdale Athletic Football Club first team
  • Catalan Dragons French Rugby League first team 
  • Leeds Rhinos Academy Team

James also studied at Leeds Beckett University and also graduated with 1st class honours. James is currently completing a masters in Sports and Exercises Medicine. James is a former international runner and brings his knowledge and experience into his clinical practice. In addition to his running background, James has clinical experience in rugby union, rugby league, football and also The Universities Sports Injury Clinic.

Jade studied Sports Therapy at Edge Hill University and following her graduation she enrolled in her MSc at UCLAN in Football Science and Rehabilitation. Jade has gained tremendous experience and will combine her clinic role with role at St Helens Rugby League team. Jade has also had experience of working a variety of other sports teams including professional football and netball.
